Experience Bad Zwischenahn and the surrounding area…
The idyllic park landscape of the Ammerland region is among the most beautiful in Germany. Here, very close to our hotel, you’ll find the spa and recreation resort of Bad Zwischenahn. Between May and June, the colorful rhododendrons bloom in the parks in and around Bad Zwischenahn, providing a true feast for the eyes.
Attractive shops, boutiques, and souvenir stores tempt you to shop. Classical spa concerts, exhibitions, festivals, markets, and events in the region provide variety throughout the year.
Those interested in culture will come across historical buildings such as the old spa house, the imposing water tower, St. John’s Church, or the mysterious Elmendorf Castle archaeological site.
Those looking for some exercise will find everything their heart desires in the surrounding area: hiking, cycling, horseback riding, sailing, or golf will whet your appetite. The hiking trail along Lake Zwischenahner See, located right next to our hotel, invites you to take a leisurely stroll.
But you shouldn’t miss a day trip to Oldenburg, to the Horst Janssen Museum or the Theater Laboratorium, or to the North Sea coast. The forces of nature are spectacular in any weather. We’d be happy to inform you about worthwhile excursions.
Your next golf vacation?
Just a few hundred meters from the Hotel Hof von Bothmer lies the Golf Club am Meer. There, you’ll find three practice holes, chipping greens, and a challenging yet fair 18-hole championship course, open year-round. The teeing area is comfortable and weather-resistant.
You can also practice under floodlights on the driving range after sunset. Those who want to learn more about golf or improve their swing can take introductory lessons under professional guidance and work on their handicap. Advanced golfers will find beautiful greens and impressive fairways on the well-maintained natural course.
Also worth discovering are attractive clubs like Hatten Golf Club with its 9-hole course. Challenging roughs and the often strong winds make it particularly attractive for experienced players.
Also recommended: Blauer Fasan Golf Club in Wiesmoor – ideal for varied rounds in a tranquil, natural setting.
But Oldenburger Land Golf Club and its 18-hole course are also a definite challenge.
